નવી દિલ્હી, 23 ઓગષ્ટઃ Devastation in Tripura: દેશભરના રાજ્યોમાં ભારે વરસાદે તબાહી મચાવી છે. ત્રિપુરામાં પણ કઇક એવી જ સ્થિતિ છે. ભારે વરસાદને કારણે ત્રિપુરામાં છેલ્લા કેટલાક દિવસોમાં ઓછામાં ઓછા 22 લોકોના મોત થયા છે અને અન્ય બે લોકો ગુમ થયા છે.
Gomati river is still flowing at 22.30 meters which is above extreme danger level of 22 meters.
We have shifted all the families on the bank of Gomati river in Amarpur, Udaipur, Sonamura and surrounding villages.

તંત્રના જણાવ્યા અનુસાર ત્રિપુરામાં 450 રાહત શિબિરોમાં 65,400 લોકોએ આશ્રય લીધો છે કારણ કે ભારે વરસાદને કારણે તેમના ઘરોને નુકસાન થયું છે.
ત્રિપુરાના મુખ્યમંત્રી માણિક સાહાએ સોશિયલ મીડિયા પ્લેટફોર્મ ફેસબુક પર એક પોસ્ટમાં લખ્યું છે કે સંતીરબજારના અશ્વની ત્રિપુરા પરા અને દેબીપુરમાં ભૂસ્ખલન બાદ દસ લોકો કાટમાળ નીચે દટાયા છે.

તેમણે કહ્યું કે હું મૃતકોના પરિવારજનો પ્રત્યે સંવેદના વ્યક્ત કરું છું. આ ન ભરી શકાય તેવી ખોટ છે. રાજ્ય સરકારે દરેક મૃતકોના પરિવારને 4 લાખ રૂપિયાની આર્થિક સહાયની જાહેરાત કરી છે.
